Special Train Service Announced Between Bengaluru and Kochuveli via Coimbatore

Salem Railway Division announced a special train service between Bengaluru and Kochuveli on February 22 and 24, departing at 11:55 PM and arriving the next day at 7:10 PM. Similarly, from Kochuveli to Bengaluru on February 23 and 25, departing at 10:00 PM and reaching the next afternoon at 4:30 PM. The train will halt at key stations including Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Ottapalam, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Kuppam, Bangarapet, and Krishnarajapuram.


Coimbatore: The Salem Railway Division has released information about a special train service operating between Bengaluru and Kochuveli. On February 22 and 24, the Bengaluru-Kochuveli special train (No: 06501) will depart Bengaluru at 11:55 PM and is scheduled to arrive at Kochuveli the following night at 7:10 PM.

In the reverse direction, the Kochuveli-Bengaluru special train (No: 06502) will set off from Kochuveli on February 23 and 25 at 10:00 PM, reaching Bengaluru the next day at 4:30 PM. These services aim to facilitate travel between the two cities, providing a convenient overnight journey option for passengers.

The special train will make stops at various stations including Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Ottapalam, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Kuppam, Bangarapet, and Krishnarajapuram, connecting a significant part of the region and aiding in the ease of travel for many.

This special service is expected to be a boon for travelers, especially those seeking to travel comfortably between Kerala and Karnataka, with Coimbatore serving as a key transit point in the journey.
