A special camp for distributing comprehensive health insurance cards and educational loans was held at Karpagam Arts and Science College auditorium in Coimbatore, benefiting over 5000 individuals.

Coimbatore: In a significant initiative aimed at supporting the educational and healthcare needs of the community, a special camp for distributing comprehensive health insurance cards and educational loans was successfully organized today, February 15, at the Karpagam Arts and Science College auditorium, located on Pollachi Main Road. The event, presided over by Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, saw the participation of Pollachi MP Shanmugasundaram and Coimbatore MP P.R. Natarajan, among other dignitaries.

The camp, part of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's extensive insurance scheme, facilitated the distribution of health insurance cards to approximately 5000 beneficiaries. Following this, educational loans were also disbursed to students pursuing higher education, enabling them to finance their studies without financial strain.

This initiative reflects the government's commitment to ensuring that healthcare and education are accessible to all, particularly those who are economically disadvantaged. The distribution of health insurance cards is expected to provide a significant safety net for families, covering various medical expenses and ensuring that health emergencies do not become a financial burden.

The educational loan segment of the camp proved to be a boon for students and their families, offering them the much-needed financial support to pursue higher education. The camp saw a large turnout, with many students and general public members availing themselves of the opportunity to secure their future education and health needs.

The successful execution of this camp highlights the collaborative efforts of the local government, educational institutions, and the community, working together towards the welfare and development of the region's people.
