Deputy Commissioner of Police, Saravanakumar, inaugurated 32 surveillance cameras at the event.
Speaking to the media, he highlighted that under the directive of the Coimbatore City Police Commissioner, efforts are being made to equip the city with CCTV cameras covering 80% of all areas to deter criminal activities and aid in identifying crimes, aiming to transform Coimbatore into a crime-free city.
