Palladam Truck Owner Involved in Forged Vehicle Registration Scandal

A truck accident near Palladam exposes a case of vehicle registration forgery involving two trucks with the same number plate.

Coimbatore: A bizarre incident unfolded near Palladam, in the Chettipalayam road area of Chinniyagoundampalayam. A truck, carrying iron filings from Pollachi to Coimbatore, lost control and descended into a ditch early in the morning. On learning about the accident, the truck owner, Asaithambi from Palladam, arrived at the scene with another truck.

However, the arrival of Asaithambi brought a shocking revelation. The locals noticed that both trucks bore the same registration number, sparking immediate suspicion. This discovery led them to inform the police, who seized both vehicles for investigation.

The truck involved in the accident was driven by 33-year-old Anthony Thiraviyam Arokkiyam from Dindigul. Fortunately, the accident did not result in any injuries or casualties. The Palladam police are now conducting a thorough investigation into this case of apparent vehicle registration forgery, which raises serious concerns about vehicular safety and regulatory compliance.
