Coimbatore Municipal Corporation Resolves Over 20,000 Public Grievances Last Year

Coimbatore Municipal Commissioner M. Sivaguru Prabakaran announced the resolution of 20,873 public complaints last year, emphasizing the effectiveness of the weekly grievance redressal camps.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Municipal Corporation, under the leadership of the Mayor, has been conducting weekly public grievance redressal camps every Tuesday. These camps have addressed basic amenities issues such as drinking water, road maintenance, and sanitation facilities. Besides, grievances are also being received through WhatsApp and telephone. Municipal Commissioner M. Sivaguru Prabakaran today reported that out of the complaints received from the public last year, 20,873 have been resolved. This statement underscores the corporation’s commitment to addressing the needs and concerns of its citizens effectively.
