Vanathi Srinivasan, MLA of Coimbatore South and BJP Women's Wing leader, inaugurated the 10th branch of a free tailoring training program in Vadavalli, aiming to empower women through skill development.
Coimbatore: In a significant move towards women's empowerment, the Coimbatore People's Service Center, Balamal Foundation, and Vandana Foundation have jointly launched their 10th branch of the free tailoring training program under the 'Suyam' project. Vanathi Srinivasan, MLA of Coimbatore South and leader of the BJP Women's Wing, inaugurated this new center today in Vadavalli.
The program is designed to transform women into entrepreneurs by equipping them with tailoring skills. A large number of women attended the inauguration and enrolled in the training sessions. This initiative reflects the commitment to enhancing women's skills and providing them with opportunities for economic independence.
The free tailoring training program has been instrumental in helping numerous women in Coimbatore to become self-reliant and contribute to their families' income. This new branch in Vadavalli is expected to further this cause and empower more women in the region.
