Coimbatore: Marking the 107th birth anniversary of MGR, AIADMK's election wing secretary and Pollachi MLA, Pollachi Jayaraman, along with the city AIADMK secretary Krishnakumar, paid homage today.
The celebration took place in front of the new bus station in Pollachi, where MGR's portrait was adorned with flowers. The dignitaries showered the portrait with petals as a sign of respect and subsequently distributed sweets to the public, commemorating the legacy of the beloved leader MGR.
