Thudiyalur DMK Hosts Samathuva Pongal Event with Grand Community Participation

The DMK's Samathuva Pongal event in Thudiyalur, Coimbatore, was a grand success, attracting over 500 participants and featuring traditional breakfast and Pongal.


Coimbatore: The DMK unit in Thudiyalur, Coimbatore, organized a significant Samathuva Pongal celebration, bringing together over 500 community members. The event took place at the Thudiyalur DMK Forum, where attendees enjoyed traditional Pongal and breakfast. The ceremonial cooking of Pongal involved the communal chanting of "Pongalo Pongal" as it boiled over. Distinguished guests included State Executive Committee Member T.P. Subramanian, former District Secretary V.N. Palaniappan, Thudiyalur DMK Secretary Arul Kumar, and others. A host of DMK functionaries, area secretaries, and numerous local residents also took part in the festivities. The event was diligently organized by 2nd Ward DMK Deputy Secretary Tamilnithi, emphasizing the spirit of community and equality.
