Samaththuva Pongal Celebrations in Thudiyalur

Thudiyalur, under Coimbatore City Corporation's 1st Ward, witnessed a grand Samaththuva Pongal celebration and sports event on January 15, with prizes distributed by Ward Councilor Karpagam Rajasekaran.


Coimbatore: The Thirumurugan Nagar neighborhood, part of the 1st Ward of Coimbatore City Corporation, celebrated an inclusive and joyous Samaththuva Pongal festival yesterday, January 15. The event, filled with various sports competitions, saw active participation from local residents. Ward Councilor Karpagam Rajasekaran handed out prizes to the winners, bringing cheer and enthusiasm among the participants. Following the prize distribution, she expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Thirumurugan Nagar Residents Welfare Association organizers and the community for their efforts in orchestrating the event and for the opportunity to be a part of the celebration.
