Sai Baba Colony Police Station Celebrates Samathuva Pongal in Coimbatore

The Sai Baba Colony C3 Police Station in Coimbatore hosted a Samathuva Pongal celebration under the leadership of Inspector Saravanan, featuring traditional attire and rituals.

The Sai Baba Colony C3 Police Station in Coimbatore celebrated Samathuva Pongal on January 15th under the guidance of Inspector Saravanan. The special guest, J. Mohammad Rafiq, leader of the Multi-faith Goodwill Movement, inaugurated the event.

During the celebration, police personnel, adorned in traditional attire, prepared Pongal in new pots. They offered sugarcane and turmeric, expressing gratitude to the Sun God, symbolizing thanksgiving and prosperity.

The event witnessed participation from police officers, various religious leaders, and the general public. The festivity concluded with the distribution of sweet Pongal to all attendees, marking the occasion as a symbol of unity and cultural harmony.
