Electrical Store in Pappanaickenpalayam Reports Theft of Copper Wires Worth Rs. 1.80 Lakh

An electrical store in Pappanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore, faced a significant theft of copper wires valued at Rs. 1.80 lakh. The owner, a resident of R.S. Puram, has filed a police complaint.


Coimbatore: In a recent incident, an electrical store in Pappanaickenpalayam has been the target of a major theft. Ronath Porwal, 31, who resides in R.S. Puram, owns the store and discovered the theft upon reviewing his inventory. He reported that copper wires weighing approximately 200 kilograms, valued at around Rs. 1.80 lakh, were missing.

Following this discovery, Porwal filed a complaint with the local police. The Race Course Police have registered the case and are currently on the lookout for the unknown thief. This incident has raised concerns about the safety of businesses in the area and the need for increased security measures.
