Mayor Inaugurates Renovated Marriage Hall in Coimbatore

Coimbatore Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar inaugurated a newly renovated marriage hall in Ward No. 66, Antonyar Kovil Street, funded by public finance.


Coimbatore: Honorable Mayor Mrs. Kalpana Anandakumar today inaugurated a refurbished municipal marriage hall in Ward No. 66, Antonyar Kovil Street, under a public finance initiative. The hall, renovated at a cost of Rs. 25 lakhs, was opened ceremonially with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the mayor. Accompanying her were Deputy Mayor Mr. R. Vetriselvan, Central Zone Chairperson Mrs. Meenaloku, Party Leader Mr. Karthikeyan, Council Members Mrs. Muniyammal and Mr. Aslambasha, Engineer Mr. Karuppasamy, Assistant Engineers Mr. Prabhakaran and Mr. Balachandar. The event marks a significant development in the city's public infrastructure, especially in providing accessible community spaces.





The inauguration ceremony was attended by local dignitaries and residents, reflecting the community's involvement and enthusiasm. The newly renovated hall is expected to serve as an important venue for various social and cultural events in the area.
