Medical Insurance Cards Distributed by Minister in Dharapuram, Tirupur

Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj distributes medical insurance cards in Dharapuram under combined PM and CM's insurance schemes, offering up to Rs. 5 lakh coverage.


Tirupur: In an impactful healthcare event, Minister for Adi Dravidar Welfare, Kayalvizhi Selvaraj, distributed medical insurance cards to about 7,000 beneficiaries in Dharapuram, near Tirupur.



These cards are part of the Prime Minister's Insurance Scheme, augmented by the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Insurance Scheme, offering coverage of up to Rs. 5 lakhs for various medical treatments.



During the event, Minister Kayalvizhi highlighted the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin's emphasis on healthcare and education. She detailed the array of welfare schemes implemented in these sectors, including 'Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam' (Healthcare at People’s Doorstep), which brings healthcare services directly to the public.

The minister urged the local community to make the most of such special camps and benefit from the government's health initiatives. The distribution event was well-attended by doctors, nurses, and local residents, reflecting a strong community engagement in health and wellness efforts.
