Two New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Coimbatore

Coimbatore reports two new COVID-19 cases, on January 4th, with ongoing treatments for 13 patients, as part of Tamil Nadu's latest coronavirus update.


Coimbatore: As of yesterday (January 4, 2024), Tamil Nadu confirmed 34 new cases of COVID-19, including two in Coimbatore. The state saw 22 recoveries, reducing the number of active cases to 190. Chennai recorded the highest number of new cases with 18. In Coimbatore, alongside the two new cases, two patients were discharged, leaving 13 still under treatment. These figures indicate a continued need for vigilance and adherence to health guidelines to prevent further spread of the virus in the region.
