Sewage Cleaning in Coimbatore’s Ward No. 27 Inspected by Councilor Ambika Dhanabal

The cleaning covered several key areas, emphasising thoroughness to maintain public health, with key municipal officials attending the inspection.


Coimbatore: In Coimbatore’s North Zone, Ward No. 27 covering Peelamedu, Avarampalayam Main Road, and the Nellai Store Junction, Kurumbapatti Street area, a thorough sewage cleaning operation was conducted today, December 29, 2023. Councilor Ambika Thanabal personally visited the site to inspect the ongoing work.

During her visit, Thanabal emphasized the importance of complete and meticulous cleaning of the sewage lines. She instructed the sanitation workers to ensure that the sewage system was thoroughly cleaned to maintain hygiene and prevent any blockages that could lead to public health issues.









The inspection was also attended by Ward Inspector Vijayakumar, Ward Assistant Engineer Thirumurthi, and Ward Supervisor Maheswari. Their presence underlined the municipality’s commitment to keeping the city’s infrastructure in optimal condition, particularly focusing on sanitation and cleanliness.

This initiative is part of the local government’s efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the city. Such operations are crucial for preventing the spread of diseases and ensuring a healthy environment for residents. The councilor’s proactive approach in supervising these activities demonstrates the local government’s dedication to public welfare and infrastructure maintenance.
