Coimbatore Traders Honor Periyar and Anna; DMK Holds Key Meeting

Coimbatore traders, led by Mari Selvan, paid tribute to Periyar and Anna with garlands. Simultaneously, a crucial DMK meeting took place to plan the centenary celebrations of Kalaignar and discuss party initiatives.


In Coimbatore's Gandhipuram area, a mark of respect was paid to the statues of Periyar and Anna by Mari Selvan, the organizer of the Coimbatore City District Traders Group, and other administrators, who adorned the statues with garlands.

The introduction meeting of the DMK traders' teams from the north and south districts of Coimbatore City is currently taking place at the DMK headquarters. The meeting, led by Murugavel, the deputy secretary of the DMK State Traders Group, sees prominent participants including Mari Selvan, the organizer for the city district traders' team, Velusamy, the organizer for the north district, Kannan, the organizer for the south district, and the city district leader Subramani, among others.







At the beginning of this advisory meeting, N. Karthik, the secretary for the DMK Coimbatore city district, delivered a special address, extending his greetings to the administrators. The meeting, attended by various district administrators from Coimbatore, is set to discuss the celebration of the Kalaignar Centenary and the developmental activities of the party.

Earlier, a gesture of honor was given to the statues of Periyar and Anna in the Gandhipuram area by Mari Selvan, the organizer of the Coimbatore city district traders' team, along with other officials, who placed garlands on the statues.
