Tragedy Strikes Near Udumalpet as Bee Sting Claims One Life

Udumalpet, Tirupur District, Tamil Nadu: A distressing incident unfolded near Udumalpet, leaving the local community in deep sorrow. The victim of this unfortunate event succumbed to a bee sting.

The incident occurred in Kadathur Kuruvanvalasu, a locality near Udumalpet in Tirupur district. The victim was identified as Solaimuthu, aged 37.



Solaimuthu had a routine of visiting the Arulmigu Aruchuneswarar temple in Kadathur Kuruvanvalasu, offering prayers in the morning and evening. Yesterday, at approximately 5:30 PM, he made his way to the temple as usual.

While near the temple, an aggressive swarm of bees situated near a tree attacked him. In an attempt to escape the perilous situation, Solaimuthu, along with others who were present, tried to find safety. He was quickly rushed to the government hospital in Udumalpet by an ambulance. Tragically, the medical professionals at the hospital declared him dead upon arrival.

Incidents involving bee attacks are not uncommon in this area, and authorities have been alerted to take necessary measures to address this recurring issue.

This tragic loss of life near Udumalpet has left the community mourning, and they are calling for steps to prevent such incidents in the future.
