Coimbatore: Kumaraguru College’s campus is now graced by the grandeur of the Sarabhai Kalam Theater (SKT), a cutting-edge conference and event facility spanning 6000 sq. ft., boasting a seating capacity of 450.
The theater, equipped with advanced audio-visual technology, meticulously designed acoustics, distinctive lighting, and an impressive LED wall, promises to be a dynamic venue for academic symposiums, tech summits, and theatrical shows.

The inauguration event witnessed the esteemed presence of Dr. Y.S. Rajan, a distinguished pioneer at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), and Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma AC (Retd), the first Indian astronaut, who shared their profound insights during the ceremony.
Dr. Rajan, lauding Kumaraguru management, envisioned SKT as a global hub for collaboration. He emphasized its potential to host experts from diverse industries, fostering innovation and creating new projects. He advocated for discussions on advanced agricultural technology, supply chains for high-tech industries, and the development of Nuclear Power Sources (NPS) to support space exploration programs.
