Collision of State-Run Buses in Palladam Leaves 10 Injured, Including a Child

Two state-run buses collided at Palladam's Arignar Anna bus stand, injuring ten passengers, including a child. Reckless driving from Pollachi reportedly caused the accident. Police investigate the incident.


Palladam, Tirupur: Pandemonium erupted at Palladam’s Arignar Anna bus stand when two state-run buses, one en route from Pollachi to Theni and the other from Coimbatore to Madurai, collided dramatically.

Passengers aboard the Pollachi-bound bus alleged that the driver’s reckless speed was the cause of the accident. Miraculously, injuries sustained were minor, but ten individuals, including children, were admitted to Palladam Government Hospital for treatment.



Palladam police swiftly responded, clearing the scene and transporting the injured in ambulances. The collision created a massive traffic snarl on the Trichy-Coimbatore National Highway.





Authorities are intensively investigating the incident, ensuring a thorough examination of the circumstances leading to this alarming collision.
