Right to Information Act Awareness Marathon in Dharapuram

The race started in front of Dharapuram police station and reached the police station via flower store corner, five road junction, government hospital, tahsildar office.


Tirupur: Prizes were awarded to the winners of the RTI Awareness Marathon held at Tarapuram.

Right to Information Law Awareness Marathon A mini marathon speed walk competition is organized by Tamil Nadu Police in Dharapuram. Police Inspector Manikandan welcomed all the participants.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Kaliyarasan inaugurated the mini marathon. The speed walking competition was held in two categories under 16 years of age and over 16 years of age.

In this competition, first prize of Rs.1000, second prize of Rs.750, third prize of Rs.500 was declared for the first three places in the category of under 16 years. Similarly, in the above 16 years category, the first prize is Rs.2000, the second prize is Rs.1000 and the third prize is Rs. 500 announced. They also announced that medals will be given to the top ten finishers in both categories. Tharapuram Deputy Superintendent of Police Kaliyarasan inaugurated the match by waving the flag.

Hariharan, Hari Saran and Deepak from Akaram School bagged the first three positions in the under-16 category. Next in the over 16 category. Mohammad Wasar and Amrut, Mohammad Tabiq and Naveen Raj, Polram bagged the top three positions. Medals and prizes were awarded to the top ten finishers in both categories. More than 300 men, women and children enthusiastically participated in this competition.
