Group dispute heats up: 8 church members booked for allegedly attacking and disrupting church festival in Coimbatore

Racecourse police registered a case against 8 people who were involved in a dispute during the harvest festival held on 10th of last month at the CSI Church in Coimbatore Racecourse.


Coimbatore: A case has been registered against 8 people who broke into a Coimbatore church. A harvest ceremony was held on the 10th of last month at the CSI Church in Coimbatore Racecourse

At that time, allegedly 8 members of the church, entered there and argued that the harvest festival should not be held and damaged the property. They have been booked allegedly tried to attack the people there by insulting them.

They have been accused of taking away Rs 10 lakh and gold coins donated by the public for the harvest festival. Pastor Prabhu Daniel filed a complaint with the Coimbatore Police Commissioner.

David Solomon, 50, Robinson Solomon, 45, Pranabhas Vasantakumar, 49, Prabhakaran, 48, Nitha, 43, Grace, 45, Raj Sukumar, 48, Nitha, 43, Grace, 45, Raj Sukumar, 48, Joshua, 47 have been charged and are being investigated by Racecourse Police.
