Retired Co-operative Sub-Registrar in Udumalpet on his wife’s death anniversary provides welfare assistance to 400 persons

On the occasion of the 9th death anniversary of Meenammal, wife of retired Deputy Registrar of Co-operatives Krishnan, welfare assistance worth Rs 5 lakh was distributed to more than 400 people.



Tirupur: Retired Deputy Registrar of Co-operatives Krishnan distributed rice and groceries to more than 400 poor and needy people on his wife's death anniversary.



Krishnan, a retired deputy registrar of co-operatives in Udumalai Kanakampalayam panchayat area of Tirupur district, today celebrated the 9th death anniversary of his late wife Meenammal. More than 400 poor people were given rice and groceries worth Rs 5 lakh under the leadership of Palakkad Congress MLA Janab Shafi Parample.



Udumalai Urban Co-operative Stores Secretary Durairaj, employee Latha, retired government officials Meeran, Krishnan, Palaniswami, Arumugam, Sheikh Abdul Khader, Thangaraj, Munusamy, Goururaj, Sakul Amed and Tiruppur South District Congress Youth Wing Muthukumar, Congress Minority Wing office-bearers and others were present.
