Kumbabishekam of Rajaganapathy Temple in Thudiyalur attracts thousands of devotees

Arulmigu Arasadi Sri Rajaganapathy Temple and Arulmigu Sri Vellimalai Sivasankareswarar Temple with Arulmigu Sivakami Ambigai situated at Thoppampatti near Thudiyalur in Coimbatore celebrated the Maha Kumbhabhishekam ceremony in a grand manner.



Coimbatore: A large number of devotees from surrounding areas participated in the consecration ceremony held at Arulmigu Arasadi Sri Rajaganapathy Temple and Arulmigu Sri Vellimalai Sivasankareswarar Temple along with Arulmigu Sivakami Ambigai. Maha Annadhanam was given to all.

Arulmigu Arasadi Sri Rajaganapathy Temple and Arulmigu Sri Vellimalai Sivasankareswarar Temple with Arulmigu Sivakami Ambigai are located in Thoppampatti near Thudiyalur in Coimbatore. The consecration of the temple was carried out with the blessings of Sakta Sri Varahi Manikanda Swamigal.

Following this, the maha kumbabishekam ceremony of the temple started with the worship of the village deity on Thursday and took out a procession of moolappari and theertha kuta. This was followed by the first sacrificial pujas on Friday. On Saturday, the second period of yajna and the third period of yagnas were performed.



This morning, the fourth kaala yaaga poojas were performed and holy water was poured on the gopuram kalash and the maha kumbhabhishekam was performed. Kumbabishekam was performed by Karamadai Sivasri Adiyogeswara Sivam team.



This was followed by abishek pujas.



It was attended by a large number of devotees from the surrounding areas. Maha Annadhanam was given to all. Arrangements were made by the temple festival committee.
