Truck collides with two-wheeler in Tirupur

A baniyan company worker, who was returning home, was seriously injured when a truck rammed into a two-wheeler in Lakshmi Nagar area of Tirupur. He was rescued and sent to the government hospital in an ambulance.



Tirupur: The police are on the lookout for a lorry driver who escaped after hitting a two-wheeler.

Saravana Prabhu is a native of Lakshmi Nagar in Tirupur. Hailing from Madurai, he has been staying in Tirupur for more than two years and has been working as a designer in Baniyan.

He was on his way home from work today when he was on his way home on his two-wheeler when a goods truck coming from behind hit the two-wheeler.

He sustained injuries at various places on his body, including his right arm, and was rescued by the locals and sent to the government hospital in an ambulance.

The driver of the truck, which caused the accident, fled and the police sent the truck to the North police station. The North police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the truck driver who escaped.
