2 km race for 48 days: Coimbatore City Police Commissioner Balakrishnan inaugurates fitness program for cops

In order to relieve the stress of the police personnel working in coimbatore city police, various programmes such as medical camps, sports, yoga, adventure competitions, etc., are being conducted for male and female police personnel and police officers.


Coimbatore: On behalf of Coimbatore City Police, to encourage fitness for police personnel, Commissioner of Police Balakrishnan inaugurated the 48-day long 2-km-long competition.



In order to relieve the stress of the police personnel working in coimbatore city police, various programmes such as medical camps, sports, yoga, adventure competitions, etc., are being conducted for male and female police personnel and police officers.



As a part of this, it is necessary for the police personnel and officers working in Coimbatore city to exercise daily.



In order to lift it up, the Coimbatore City Police decided to conduct a 2-km-long race every day for the next 48 days.

Its opening g ceremony was held at the Armed Forces Grounds.



Police Commissioner Balakrishnan, who participated in the meeting, along with fellow policemen, ran for 2 km.



Similarly, for the next 48 days, the police should run for 2 kms and give importance to physical training, commissioner Balakrishnan said.
