RTO officials seize Kerala tipper lorry smuggling red soil to Kerala without permission near Dharapuram

On the orders of Tirupur District Collector T Christuraj, motor vehicle inspector J Senthil Kumar led by Dharapuram Regional Transport Officer Senthil Kumar inspected the surrounding areas of Dharapuram.



Regional Transport Officers seized a Kerala tipper truck which was transporting red soil to Kerala states without permission near Dharapuram.

On the orders of Tirupur District Collector T Christuraj, motor vehicle inspector J Senthil Kumar led by Dharapuram Regional Transport Officer Senthil Kumar inspected the surrounding areas of Dharapuram.

At that time, two heavy vehicles from Kerala came on the Ottanchatram-Dharapuram road carrying red mud. It was caught by the regional transport officers and inspected.



At that time, the truck drivers said that they were going to transport red soil to Kerala in two Taurus lorries without the permission of the government.



It was also reported that vehicles were being driven to cause inconvenience to the public and were being driven in such a way as to carry heavy loads and damage the roads.

Based on the complaint, a tipper truck, a heavy vehicle belonging to two other states (Kerala) near Dharapuram, has been detained and parked at the Regional Transport Office for further action.
