Collision of motorcycles near Kundadam; One killed

Velusamy, who was seriously injured in the incident, was rushed to a private government hospital in Coimbatore. He died tragically despite being treated intensively by the doctors there.


Coimbatore: Velusamy (55) hails from Nallipalayam near Kundadam. He and his cousin Karunakaran (55), a native of Sadayapalayam, were travelling on a motorcycle near Panapalayam on the road from Uppar dam to Dharapuram on the day of the incident.

Kuppusamy, a native of Panamarathupalayam, suddenly entered the road from Panamarathupalayam to Dharapuram road on another motorcycle. The two motorcycles collided unexpectedly. All three of them were thrown out.

Velusamy, who was seriously injured in the incident, was rushed to a private government hospital in Coimbatore. He died tragically despite being treated intensively by the doctors there.

Karunakaran and Kuppusamy, who were injured, are being treated. Kundadam police have registered a case and are investigating the accident.
