Audi car accident near Thudiyalur - Woman on two-wheeler admitted to hospital in critical condition

Vishnu (26), a native of Anaikatti in Kerala, Syed Mohammed (30) of Thudiyalur and Mithuniyam (27) of Anaikatti Agali in Kerala. Yesterday, he was driving his Audi luxury car under the influence of alcohol and was speeding on the road from Vadamadurai to Palani Goundanpudur.

Coimbatore: Vishnu (26), a native of Anaikatti in Kerala, was driving his Audi luxury car in an inebriated state yesterday on the road from Vadamadurai to Palani Goundanpudur.



He was accompanied by Syed Mohammed (30) of Thudiyalur and Mithuniyam (27), a resident of Anaikatti Agali in Kerala. When the car was trying to turn on the road leading to Palanigoundan Pudur, the luxury car lost control and rammed into Ajay (29), a native of Pannimadai in Coimbatore, who was riding a two-wheeler on the road. Sasirekha (29), a resident of Rose Garden Thendral Nagar in Coimbatore, who came on another two-wheeler, was also hit.



Sasirekha sustained serious injuries and was admitted to a nearby private hospital in a critical condition. Ajay was rushed to a government hospital with minor injuries. 



The Thudiyalur police, who reached the spot on receiving the information, nabbed Vishnu, who was driving in the car under the influence of alcohol, and are investigating. In a shocking incident, a luxury car driven under the influence of alcohol lost control and rammed into two people and stopped in a bush on the side of the road.
