The Manipur riots and atrocities on women have sent shock waves across the country. Women lawyers staged a protest in front of the Combined District Court in Coimbatore against the Manipur riots.

Manipur has been witnessing clashes between the two sides for more than three months now. According to reports, hundreds of people have died and thousands of people have been seriously injured.

Meanwhile, the incident of rape of two women in Manipur has shocked the entire country. Various sections of the society have been protesting and protesting against the BJP government for the violence in Manipur.



Following this, all women lawyers staged a protest in front of the Combined District Court in Coimbatore against the incidents of atrocities against women in Manipur, Rajasthan and West Bengal.



More than 50 women lawyers participated in the protest, holding placards and raising slogans.



Slogans were also raised demanding the safety of women.
