Govt. Students' Hostel opened in Udumalpet - Ministers Saminathan, Kayalvizhi Selvaraj to participate

The hostel was constructed in the premises of The Government Industrial Training Institute for the benefit of Adi Dravidar students studying in Government Arts and Science College, Udumalai in Tirupur District.



Tirupur: The hostel was constructed in the premises of The Government Industrial Training Institute for the benefit of Adi Dravidar students studying in Government Arts and Science College, Udumalai in Tirupur District. A function was held to put this hostel into use.

Tamil Development and Information Minister M P Saminathan and Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister N Kayalvizhi Selvaraj jointly inaugurated the hostel. Following this, the ministers visited the hostel and enquired about the basic amenities provided to the students there.

District Collector T Christuraj, Tirupur South District DMK President Jayaramakrishnan, Tirupur Corporation 4th Zone President and District Secretary L Padmanabhan, Udumalai Town Secretary C Velusamy and others were present on the occasion. Udumalai union committee president Mahalakshmi Murugan, union secretaries Senthil Kumar, S K M Thangaraj alias Meignanamoorthy, district youth wing convenor Jayakumar, District Adi Dravidar Welfare Committee Deputy Convener Murugan, Madathukulam Union Committee Vice-President Eswarasamy Udumalai RTO Jaswanth Kannan, Tahsildar Kannamani, General Council Member Babu, PAP Irrigation Society President Modakkupatti Ravi, ITI Principal Rajeshwari, Training Officer Ramesh Kumar were present.
