Launch an Eight car Chennai-Coimbatore-Bangalore and vice versa under Vande Bharat express before September 15th - Rail Users Association Coimbatore

The festival season Pooja holidays, Deepavali and New year will help boost the traffic which will lead to better occupancy, they said.


Coimbatore: The Rail Users Association have urged the government to cater to the needs of Coimbatoreans by launching an Eight car Chennai - Coimbatore - Bangalore and vice versa Vande Bharat express before September 15th.

They have also suggested the following timings for the train:

Rake 1

Chennai - 06.30 am

Salem - 10.10 am

Coimbatore - 12.20 pm.

Coimbatore - 14.00 pm.

Salem - 16.00 pm.

Bangalore - 19.00 pm.

Rake 2

Bangalore - 7.00 am

Salem - 10.00 am

Coimbatore - 12.10 pm

Coimbatore - 14.10 pm

Salem - 16.10 pm

Chennai - 20.00 pm.
