A massive fire broke out in the AC of Vasanth and Co. in Gandhipuram area of Coimbatore.



Coimbatore: A massive fire broke out in the AC of Vasanth and Co. in Gandhipuram area of Coimbatore due to an electrical leakage.



Vasanth & Co. operates on Gandhipuram Crosscut Road in Coimbatore. In this case, the fire broke out in the AC due to an electrical leakage on the floor of the building this afternoon.



Following this, the fire department was informed and firefighters from two fire tenders arrived at the spot and extinguished the fire which had been burning for more than half an hour.



This prevented major untoward incidents.



People in Gandhipuram, an ever-busy area, were in a state of panic after a sudden fire broke out. Kattoor police are investigating the spot in connection with the fire.
