A woman died after being bitten by a snake near Udumalpet

A snake bit a woman in Kuzhi Patti, a hill village near Udumalpet. She has been given cow's medicine in a natural way because there is no way to transport her to the hospital. In this case, the residents of the area have demanded that a road be built to connect them to the hospital.

Tirupur: A woman was bitten by a snake at Kuzhipatti hill village near Udumalpet.

Mariyammal was bitten by a kattuviriyan snake last night at kuzhipatti hill village of Anaimalai Tiger Reserve near Udumalpet in Tirupur district. At this stage, there is no way to transport the woman who was bitten by a snake to the Udumalai Government Hospital.

Due to this, cow remedies are being given in a natural way.

At times, there has also been an increase in the number of wild elephants in the area. Meanwhile, it takes about three hours to reach from Kuzhipatti to Udumalpet through Kadamparai Aliyar Anaimalai.

But the lives of a large number of tribals will be saved if the path is paved in the forest area to Thirumoorthy Hills in Kuzhipatti.

Therefore, the hill villagers requested that concerned authorities notably including Kuzhipatti Mavathiruppu, should be provided road facility to reach Udumalpet easily.
