Young People put up banners and Paid floral Tribute to the Late DIG Vijayakumar

On July 7, DIG Vijayakumar of Coimbatore range committed suicide by shooting himself at his camp office. In memory of him, the youths from Thiruvalluvar Nagar village on Thadagam road in Coimbatore held a tearful tribute by placing a banner and lighting candles to pay their respects.



Coimbatore: On July 7, Vijayakumar, who was working as a DIG for the Coimbatore range, committed himself by shooting himself at his camp office. His body was sent to his hometown of Theni after the post-mortem examination at the Coimbatore Government Hospital.

Several leaders, including Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, police officers, and members of the public expressed their condolences for DIG Vijayakumar's death. His suicide has caused a lot of grief among the police.



In this situation, youths from Thiruvalluvar Nagar village on Thadagam Road in Coimbatore placed a teary-eyed banner and lit candles and offered floral tributes to DIG Vijayakumar.



Former Nanjundapuram Panchayat President VKV Sundararaj, Thadagam police and the people of the area participated in the event and paid floral tributes.



The people of the area appreciate the youth's efforts.
