Rajasthani Nivas Inaugurated in Coimbatore by Shakuntala Devi Rawat, Rajasthan Minister

The members of Rajasthani Sangh gathered in festive spirits as the much awaited Rajasthani Nivas located at Periaswamy Road was inaugurated by Rajasthan Government Industry and Commerce Minister Shakuntala Devi Rawat, Pollachi MP Shanmugha Sundram, Rajasthan Foundation Commissioner Dheeraj Srivastav IAS and other dignitaries.



Coimbatore: Rajastani sangh members were in a festive mood as the long-awaited newly constructed rajastani nivas situated on Periaswamy road was inaugurated by Rajasthan government industry and commerce minister shakuntala Devi rawat, Pollachi MP Shanmugha sundram, Rajasthan foundation commissioner Dheeraj srivastav IAS and others.



Nishi Rakesh Bafna began the function by reciting all religions' prayers, and Rajasthani Sangh President Madanlal Bafna welcomed everyone. 



Minister Shakuntla Devi, Shanmugha Sundram, MP, Rajasthan foundation commissioner Dhiraj Srivastav IAS, airport Rajendran, Alagu Jaybalan, and Rajasthani sangh committee members lit the kuthuvilakku.



Shanmugha Sundram said that, Tamil Nadu is rapidly expanding under the capable leadership of C M Stalin. He stated that the Coimbatore district, which has a population of 38 lakh people, has 18 lakh skilled workers. He suggested that Shakuntala Devi ask Rajastani industrial houses to invest in Tamil Nadu. He welcomed the Rajasthan minister on behalf of CM Stalin.



Shakuntala Devi stated that the Rajasthan government, led by CM Ashok Gehlot, is doing well and is industrial friendly. She stated that the Rajasthan government had done a lot for women's empowerment and poverty alleviation programmes.

The chairman of the Rajasthani Singh Media Committee, Kishore Jain, stated that the multi-purpose Rajastani Nivas will be of great service to Coimbatoreans because it has all modern amenities and is powered by green energy.

Rajasthani community members performed the traditional Gher dance of Rajasthan. The minister also paid a visit to the RG Street Suparshvanath Temple, where he received blessings from Jain monks munisree mukti prabh Sagar and eight sadhvijis who are in Coimbatore for Jain chaturmas. She admired the distinctive architecture of the Jain temple.
