Inauguration of new classroom building at Kanuvai Government High School

The completed two-classroom building at Kanuvai Government High School near Thudiyalur was inaugurated today. On the occasion, KMCH president Nalla G Palaniswami participated in the function and lit the lamp and opened the classrooms by cutting ribbons.



Coimbatore: The inauguration ceremony of the new classroom building at Kanuvai Government High School near Thudiyalur in Coimbatore district was held.

The Spinning Association organised an inauguration ceremony for the newly constructed class room at the Government High School in Kanuvai, near Thudiyalur.



More than 600 students are studying in this school. Due to lack of space,the students had to sit and study under the shade of trees.

Keeping this in mind, two additional classrooms were being built at a cost of Rs.18.00 lakhs in collaboration with Coimbatore Acme Cycle Society 133, Coimbatore United Cycle Society 186, and Dharani Motor Company.



The opening ceremony was held today, following the completion of the works. The event was presided over by Bharathi Selvam, president of the Parent Teachers Association.



T.N. Velusamy, former President of Chinnathadagam Panchayat, and the Presidents of The Cycle Societies R.R. Vidyasagar and S. Rahul Ramachandran took the initiative.

Subsequently, incentives were distributed to the students who secured the top three ranks in the 10th standard public examination in the last academic year. 



Saplings were also planted in memory of the festival.
