Coimbatore District's Railway Development Demands Discussed at Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Coimbatore held a discussion to address the demands from the Coimbatore district for the development of Railways. The four topics discussed were policy, stations, train service, and infrastructure in order to provide improved railway services for the district.



Coimbatore: Demands from Coimbatore district for the development of Railways was discussed yesterday at the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore under four broader subjects.

The four topics discussed were policy, stations, train service, and infrastructure in order to provide improved railway services for the district.

Following extensive deliberation by all stakeholders from Mettupalayam, Karamadai, PeriyanaickenPalayam, Thudiyalur, Peelamedu, Irugur, Podanur, Kinathukkadavu, and Pollachi, a request was made to prepare a detailed memorandum and meet with officials in Salem, Chennai, and Delhi to implement the people's demands.

The services of everyone concerned shall be sought to represent these critical issues related to the development of Coimbatore district with the highest Authority.
