World Environment Day 2023 was celebrated by the Department of Environmental Engineering of Park College of Technology at its college campus.Dr. Anusha Ravi CEO of Park Institutions released the book "Water Supply and Waste Water Engineering" authored by Dr. Ganesaguru, Faculty of PCT during the function.


Coimbatore: World Environment Day 2023 was celebrated by the Department of Environmental Engineering of Park College of Technology at its college campus on 05 Jun 2023.

Dr. Angala Parameshwari, Principal, Park College of Technology welcomed the gathering. Sathish Kumar, GM, Park Group of Institutions felicitated the gathering.



Dr. GanesaGuru, a professor at Park College of Technology and a government-approved hydrogeologist, addressed the audience and thanked the students for their assistance in writing his book "Water Supply and Waste Water Engineering."

Dr. Anusha Ravi, CEO, Park Institutions presided over the function. During her speech, she narrated the history of a river in Australia.

The river was once used to dump the remains of beef and now the river is used for ferrying. She also mentioned that the whole aim of the department should be to "Protect our Mother Earth".



During the ceremony, Dr. Anusha Ravi released the book "Water Supply and Waste Water Engineering" by Dr. Ganesaguru, Faculty of PCT.All the participants in the event took pledge to protect the environment.

Later Dr. Anusha Ravi, inaugurated planting of 100 saplings in the college campus by planting one sapling of Soursop.All the faculties and students of the college took part in this program.  

The event concluded with the National Anthem.
