Coimbatore: A video of an elephant herd attack in a forest area near Valparai is going viral on social media.

The Athirapalli forest cover near Valparai in Coimbatore district is home to wild elephants, leopards, bison and other wild animals.

Tourists visiting Athirapally generally sight these wild animals while travelling through.



On Monday, some elephants attacked in the betel leaf rock area and tourists were quick to capture the attack on their mobiles and uploaded it on social media.



The video is presently going viral on social media.
