An elderly man riding a two-wheeler was seriously injured in the accident. DMK's Tiruppur South district secretary and corporation's fourth zone president Padmanabhan rescued the elderly man who was injured in the road accident and informed the ambulance and sent him to vellakoil government hospital for first-aid treatment.
