Heavy rains lash Coimbatore's Kavundampalayam - Car stuck under the flyover

A car was stuck under the flyover at Kavundampalayam in Coimbatore due to waterlogging. Due to this, traffic in the area has been affected and diverted.



Coimbatore: Vehicular traffic was disrupted due to heavy rains in various parts of Coimbatore city.

Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds lashed Ukkadam, Kavundampalayam and Gandhipuram areas of Coimbatore city for more than half an hour today.

Due to this, rainwater flooded the roads at various places. In some places, people travelling in the area were affected due to waterlogging.



In this situation, a car coming from the flyover in Kavundampalayam area got stuck under the ground due to waterlogging.



Due to this, traffic in the area has been affected and traffic has been diverted.

Efforts are currently being made to take the vehicle out.
