Violent Clash between Employees Leaves One Critically Injured in Kavundampalayam, Coimbatore

In a clash between two employees of a private company in Kavundampalayam, Coimbatore, one person was critically injured. Arumugam was caught and imprisoned by thudiyalur police.


Coimbatore:Thirumoorthy and Arumugam, both residents of Kavundampalayam in Coimbatore, were working as welders in a private company in the same area.

Last month, the hammer in Arumugam's hand accidentally fell on Thirumoorthy's leg. Following a dispute between the two, Thirumoorthy hit Arumugam in the leg with an iron pipe.

It is learnt that Thirumoorthy teased Arumugam, who came to work last week, with a leg injury.

Arumugam, in a fit of wrath, hit Thirumoorthy on the head with an iron pipe that was nearby. Thirumoorthy has stitches on his head.

Thudiyalur police arrested and imprisoned Arumugam on the basis of a complaint filed by Thirumoorthy's mother in connection with the incident.

It is to be noted that cases are already pending against Arumugam in other police stations.
