5 speed breakers installed at Coimbatore race course for a safer ride!

The public was pleased with the installation of speed breakers at five locations in the Race Course region of Coimbatore district in order to reduce accidents and ensure the safety of the public and pedestrians.


Coimbatore: To reduce accidents, speed breakers have been installed in five locations around the race course.

Race course is an important part of Coimbatore Corporation. Thousands of people come here every day for walking, running, cycling, etc.

Due to this, Race Course has been upgraded and revitalized in the Smart City project. There is also a gym for the youth, a sports park for the children and spectacular electric lights. Thus, the race course is always bustling.

The Race Course Road has also been renovated to allow for free movement of vehicles. As a result, It was busy with two-wheelers and four-wheelers.

Accidents also started to increase as a result of vehicles speeding. Pedestrians are unable to cross the road in some areas.

The public has asked the police to install speed breakers in important places so that fast vehicles can be stopped and accidents avoided.

Following that, the police chose the place for the speed breaker. As a result, the highways department erected speed breakers at five places on the road around the race course yesterday. The speed breakers have been welcomed by both the general public and walkers.

According to the public, this road is heavily trafficked from morning to night. Moreover, accidents were taking place every day as all the vehicles were moving at high speed.

The installation of a speed breaker enables vehicles on this road to slow down. Countless accidents are also avoided.
