Startling CCTV video – Bear spotted taking a stroll near Ooty Friday morning!

In the recent past, there has been an upsurge in the movement of wild creatures such as bears and leopards in the Emerald area near Ooty. On Friday morning, the plantation employees were concerned because a bear was roaming the grounds.



The Nilgiris: Plantation workers are terrified after a bear wandered around near Ooty in the early hours of the morning.

The Emerald area near Ooty in the Nilgiris district has experienced an upsurge in the movement of wild creatures such as bears and leopards in recent years.

Wild animals enter tea plantations and wooded regions during the day and explore the residential areas at night in quest of food.

As a result, the population is afraid at night and is confined to their houses. Similarly, plantation workers arrived at the Emerald Bazaar area early on Friday morning to report for duty.



Then, all of a sudden, a bear appeared. The public was terrified after seeing CCTV images of the bear walking around, and personnel raced to the scene.
