A 90-year-old woman dies after falling into the pond in Sulur

The deceased was identified as Kuttiyammal, a resident of Aadhavanan street in Sulur who was living alone after the death of her husband. In this case, the old woman was reported missing since morning.


Coimbatore: A 90-year-old woman fell into a pond and died in Sulur. Police seized the body and an investigation is underway regarding this tragic incident.

According to reports, upon receiving information about a floating body in a pond near Sulur, the police arrived at the spot. The police found that the body of an old woman was floating. Immediately the fire department was informed about the incident.



During the investigation, the deceased was identified as Kuttiyammal, a resident of Aadhavanan street who was living alone after the death of her husband. In this case, the old woman was reported missing since morning.

In this situation, a case has been registered to investigate the actual cause of death, whether it was an accidental death or suicide.
