Revenue inspector transferred in Dharapuram over issue of making people wait to file petition

In a shocking incident, Dhanalakshmi, a woman revenue inspector, was transferred after a video of her ordering meals for a senior official while making people wait at Dharapuram in Tiruppur district has gone viral on social media.



Dhanalakshmi is a revenue inspector at Dharapuram in Tiruppur district. She was on duty at the office on The 17th. The public had come to the office to meet him and submit a petition.

Then she received a call from a higher official. Following this, Dhanalakshmi handed over the food list to her assistant asking her to buy food for the higher official at a private hotel.



She then went to the hotel and kept telling the assistant about the food items on his cell phone one after the other.

The people who came to file the petition were dissatisfied as they had to wait for a long time and made a video of Dhanalakshmi's actions and posted it on social media. The video went viral.

District Revenue Officer Jaibheem, who conducted an inquiry into the matter, ordered the transfer of Dharapuram Revenue Inspector Dhanalakshmi to Alankiyam revenue village.

Saravanan, who was working as a revenue inspector in Alangiyam, was posted to Dharapuram. A woman revenue inspector has been transferred for ordering food for a higher official after leaving the public to protect the public who had come to file a petition.
