Coimbatore: A video clip of a clash between hostel workers from the northern states and college students near Sulur has gone viral on social media.
A private polytechnic college is functioning at Kannampalayam near Sulur. A large number of migrant north Indian workers are working in the college hostel.

The quarrel turned ugly when a clash between them erupted in which logs were used to attack each other. The firewood kept in the hostel was seized as a weapon to assault each other.
The Sulur police, who reached the spot pacified both sides and they are investigating the clash which took place in the college premises.
The clash has already been shared on social media, which sent shock waves across the student community.
