Two die as two-wheeler crashes against the centre median wall near Dharapuram

Two persons including the manager of a private firm in Tirupur were killed as the bike they were riding hit a centre median wall near Dharapuram.



Tiruppur: Two persons, including the manager of a private firm, were killed when a two-wheeler they were travelling crashed against the centre median wall on the bypass road near Nanjiyampalayam near Dharapuram.



Ranjith Kumar( 23), son of Arumugam, a resident of Kottamuttampalayam South kudil street, and Manoj Vishwanathachari (37) son of Manoj Somanathan of Telangana were killed in the accident.

The two died of brain injuries as they have not worn helmets.



Last night, the two were returning home on a two-wheeler after working in a private company on Pollachi Road when the accident occurred.

The bodies of the two victims have been sent to Dharapuram Government Hospital for postmortem.

Dharapuram police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.

According to the police, the two were shifting from the main road to a narrow road when the rider lost control of the two-wheeler.

The death of two persons on the spot in the accident has left the people of Kottamuttampalayam in a state of shock.
