Corporation Commissioner inspects ongoing road works in Thanneer Pandal area in the city

Corporation Commissioner Prathap conducted a surprise inspection of the ongoing tar road works at an estimated cost of Rs 5.28 crore in the Thanneer Pandal area and directed the officials to expedite the work.


Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner Prathap inspected the ongoing construction of a tar road at the Thaneer Pandal area.

The work has been taken up at the 32nd ward and 37th ward of Coimbatore Corporation East Zone, from Maheshwari Nagar

Junction to Vilankurichi Bridge at an estimated cost of Rs.5.28 crore and for a a stretch of 2.96 km.

He also enquired about the width and quality of the road from the contractor and expedite the works.

Assistant Commissioner Muthu Ramalingam, Assistant Executive Engineer Sundararajan and other government officials were present during the inspection.
