Under the Smart City project, work is in progress to install Tamil vowels Aa, Aaa, Ee in the media tower set up in the Race Course in order to bring glory to Tamil.

Coimbatore: In order to make the cotton city beautiful, many works are underway at various places under the Smart City project

As a part of this, work is being carried out to set up an artificial fountain and media tower in the Race Course area, which is the most popular haunt of the city denizens.

While both these works are almost in the final stages, the work of installing Tamil vowel letters is also in progress to bring glory to the Tamil language.

A Corporation official said, "In the smart city, we are installing vowel letters Aa, Aaa, Ee to reflect the glory of the Tamil language.

This allows you to read the letters thoroughly from the top to bottom.

“Children would have the opportunity to read these letters easily. Moreover, these letters are arranged in such a way that these letters are visible brightly in the lights that glow in the evenings. The work will be completed by the end of next week” he said.

The city denizens are eagerly waiting to see the complete version of the new Tamil letters arrangement once the work gets completed.
